Das yummy Peach crumble pie style Berliner weisse ale with peach, cinnamon, vanilla, and lactose. From Oozelfinch and Blending. Brewer Rachel Edwards Served in pub style pint glass Slightly frothy orange juice look with a whipped thick head that dissipated quickly Served out of the fridge Immediate smell was a bit sour (balsamic vinaigrette), the taste was almost like a very aromatic infused pickled onion, heavy clove with strong vinegar. Just below room temp the notes of cinnamon become prevalent in the back of the throat and the stone fruit peach notes pull through the vinegar.
For something that looks like the trioxin dripping off Tarman. The mouthfeel is clean my tongue feels like I sucked on a warhead candy which is kind of nice in a beer without tasting artificial.
Overall I'm pleased after the last Oozelfinch I had this one was staring at me from the back of the fridge delightfully tart, and surprisingly refreshing.
